AE 481/482 Reflection
The Senior Thesis Project for the Penn State Architectural Engineering Department provided an opportunity for students to demonstrate the education and experience gathered over the last 5 years studying in Architectural Engineering. Over the course of the 2015-2016 academic year, the Michael Baker Building Renovation was analyzed for potentilal optimizations that would bring better ourcomes to the construciton team and owner. Through this thesis project, I gained more experiences studying construciton projects, and improved related technical skills.
CPEP Reflection
The Capstine Project Electronic Portfolio (CPEP) was used by the students of the senior courses to present and share the information of the project. The final product of the student's thesis work is showned on the website to a variety of audience. It is a great tool to guide the audience through the process of student thesis works.
ABET Assessment
A survey established by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) is completed as part of the thesis project. This survey relect a student assessment of the course, not the instructor's assessment.
